Outfitting a Mount Making Workshop

I have an exciting opportunity to design and outfit a mount-making workshop from the ground up for a museum opening in Spring 2026! I'm currently developing a comprehensive purchase list for tools, equipment, and materials, using the IMF Tools and Equipment list PDF as a starting base. However, I wanted to gather insights from experienced mount makers. Are there any essential tools or materials that aren't on the IMF list that you've found invaluable? Or are there any tools you've been dreaming of adding to your workshop? Your expertise would be greatly appreciated!

The team I have just joined are in a similar situation in which we, fingers crossed, will be pulling together a new workshop very soon and would be very keen to hear more about your experience and any suggestions or pit falls you have come across.
Also interested to hear of any suggestion's others have for must have tools!
I am new to mount making and still finding my way so have spent many, many afternoons on IMF absorbing content.
