The 10th International Mountmakers Forum
"Back to Basics, Outside the Box"
will be held November 3-5, 2026 in San Francisco, California
at the Asian Art Museum.
Our theme for IMF2026 is “Back to Basics, Outside the Box."
We hope it will draw topics fundamental to exhibition mountmaking as well as more creative and innovative solutions and techniques that build on those principles.
Presenters have four submission options:

Presentation (20 minutes)

Short presentation (under 10 minutes)

Panel with multiple speakers (30 minutes)

Poster or demonstration table presentation
Abstracts must specify:

Your submission preference

Delivery method (in-person, virtual-live, or pre-recorded)
-
Provisional title
-
Names & contact information for each submitter, panelist(s), & moderator

Description of presentation topic (not to exceed 400 words)
