Intensive mountmaking Intro workshop

Happy New Year all - I'm teaching a 1 day intro course at Brooklyn Metal Works on Saturday, March 15. Please spread the word to any folks that are in the NYC area and want to get a better understanding of mountmaking. I expect to offer a more in depth 8 week course later this the Sping and will post if finalized.

C3 - Second Session of Mount Making Added!

The Center for Collections Care (C3) at Beloit College has added a second session of Mount Making: The Design and Fabrication of Archival Mounts for Exhibits to meet demand.


The first session is fully booked, but there are six spots open in the second session, which is confirmed to run July 22-26, 2024. Both sessions are taught by Pam Gailbe and Earl Lock. The full course description is available here.

8 week Mountmaking class in Brooklyn

Brooklyn Metal Works is hosting my 8 week mountmaking course again, this time in the Fall. Learn about the basics of mountmaking, with an emphasis on working in a museum environment. You'll make a mount for an object that you provide.

Two spots open in four-day Mount Making course!

There are two spots now available in Mount Making: The Design and Fabrication of Archival Mounts course taught by Earl Lock and Pam Gaible through the Center for Collections Care at Beloit College. The course runs June 13-16, 2023. Housing, breafast and lunch, and all course materials are included in the course fee ($1,450). Register now to grab one the last spots!
