Call for Papers

2020, 10 – 12 November
International Mountmakers Forum, 2020.
Getty Center, Los Angeles, California

The International Mountmakers Forum is a non-profit organization supporting the mountmaking community. Objectives of this conference include fostering communication, promoting best practices, and disseminating current information regarding the profession.  The Getty Center in L.A. will be the primary host, with two days of presentations, followed by a day of tours and a closing reception at the Getty Villa.

Topics of interest include:
•    Case studies
•    New materials
•    3D scanning/printing
•    Spectacular fails
•    Tips, tricks, or innovative techniques

Guide for authors:
The deadline to submit abstracts is May 8th, 2020.
Please submit all abstracts to the following email address:

Authors are invited to submit an abstract of no more than 250 words for the following formats:
•    Full length papers (20 min.)
•    Short talks (10 min.)
•    Posters

Important Dates and Information:
Conference registration:  Spring, 2020
Deadline for submission:  May 8th, 2020
Notification of acceptance:  May 22nd, 2020
Deadline for Final paper submission (Power Points/Posters):  September 30th, 2020

Conference Registration fee: $125 USD (Registration information coming soon)
