Hello Mount Makers, I have been looking into Anvils for our new Mount Making welding/steel shop. This will be a first for us so I am wondering if anyone has any recommendations on a style and weight that would best suit the needs of mount making. Looking for some recommendations on Oddy Approved Spray primer for mount coatings. I have tried a few from the AIC Website and Some that came recommended by other mount makers. But would love to hear what others are using. Ideally in White & Light Gray! Heres what we are currently using: Krylon Industrial Tough Coat (Gray) Krylon Acryli-Quik 1318 (Gray) Krylon Iron Guard 7911 (Black)

Purchasing some Acrylic equipment for a new shop space. We don't work with acrylic too often for mounts, nor do I have a ton of experience with it but would still like to have the ability to if needed! Any recommendations on a good Bender? Any other Acrylic equipment you would recommend?

Hi, wondering if anyone has any recommendations for workshops or courses (even books) they have taken which they have found helpful to their growth as a mount maker? I am new to my position (around 8 months) and am constantly trying to learn and grow in my techniques and knowledge of the field. i.e. I recently finished a short painting class which has already helped immensely in my faux paint outs.

I'm looking for some recommendations and input on Paint for Mount Finishing. I am looking at Gamblin and Vallejo Acrylics, Has anyone used either of these brands or have suggestions on other options?
