Dear All Hope you can give me a little bit of orientation. I´m an objects conservator and have started doing bronze mounts about one year ago. So I´m really new in this. I have a little workshop at home and would like to try doing steel mounts in some cases. The question is about the equipment. I´m really fancy about learning Tig welding. The question is, can I use Tig welding also for small stainless steel wire mounts or does it only work for bigger steel mounts? And if it is possible, which type of equipment do I need? I´m living in Chile, so brand names are different here, but I really appreciate any technical details (ampere ranges, puls or not etc.). Thanks a lot! Anja
