I'm wondering if anyone has done recent testing of the University Products/Lineco Volara Rabbett lining tape? It did not pass in a 2013 Cleveland Museum of Art test and I've wondered if there have been any updates. As a volara and acrylic adhesive product, it's puzzling what is making it fail. It's a great mount padding for non-sensitive objects and I've been able to get it in the .0312" x.25" size from University Products as well as a .5" and .75" widths from 888 Mfg. If anyone has an active testing program going it would be great to get these tested again to see if there have been any changes.

I've been asked for sources of mount paddings that may be available to a museum and their mountmakers in Italy. Does anyone have specific suppliers for Oddy tested materials that would be easy for them to order? Any thoughts are welcome.

Hello Good Mount People!

I am on a search for any information on a recommended interior case construction material, Forex, a PVC product, as I understand, used in the UK and elsewhere in Europe, for case decks/walls, furniture, etc. I think it is similar to our US material, Sintra or Komatex and was wondering if anyone has any experience working with it, specifically any ODDY tests that might have been performed, I’ve looked online and can’t seem to find anything?
